A brief example of my more traditional styled animation.
CAP.
EPISODE 3 - January 2012:***WARNING: MATURE CONTENT*** The
latest episode of the online animated series of shorts produced
with Harland Williams. Contains some language and violence,
as it is a series aimed toward the South Park, Adult Swim type
of audience. This latest episode has some surprise guest stars
show up... and the craziness ensues. All the animation created
using Photoshop and After Effects, with final edit in Premiere.
GALL-BLADDER
RAP - September 2011: The
second animation for Mikey and Big Bob / 96.1 Kiss (Clear Channel
Radio). Animation created around a rap
song written by Mikey for Big Bob's soon to be gone gall-bladder.

EILEEN GAGA ANIMATION - August 2011: An
animation for Mikey and Big Bob, the 96.1 Morning Freak Show
(Clear Channel Radio, Pittsburgh Morning Radio Show), based
off one of the show's regular callers, "Eileen from Blawnox."
Here she does her best Lady Gaga. Created with Photoshop, After
Effects and Premiere. Plans are to do a series of these from
their various audio recordings.
ANIMATED LADY GAGA INTERVIEW - July 2011:
An animation created
for a radio phone interview by D.J. Bonics with Lady Gaga (96.1
Kiss Radio, Pittsburgh). A method to give some visual interest
to an audio based interview. Created with Photoshop, After Effects
and Premiere.
C.A.P. CARTOON - April 2011: ***WARNING: MATURE CONTENT***
Here is the
first animated short created with Harland Williams. This series
is aimed toward the South Park / Adult Swim audience. A second
short is completed and the third script is written and ready
to start. The show has already been presented to Adult Swim
and Comedy Central, and time will tell where it goes. Harland
came up with the concept, wrote the script and recorded the
voices. From his character sketches and audio I built the characters
and animated the story. I used Photoshop for all the image elements,
After Effects for the animation, and Premiere for editing.
BLAST FROM THE PAST - Way back in 2005!:
An early animated promo
featuring some upset sheep. Thought I had lost this one, but
recently found it... a Thanksgiving Miracle! Audio was created
for a radio spot which I used as the foundation for a television
promotion. Created and edited with Photoshop and After Effects.
CLEVELAND PITTSBURGH CUSTOMS - November 2010:
Custom Pittsburgh promos
for The Cleveland Show. Script written locally and sent to FOX
Network for recording by show talent. Once audio received I
used an existing promo video and re-animated the mouth movements
to match the custom audio. Editing and animation created with
Photoshop and After Effects.

- August 2010: While
that is not the full title, that is what I'm going to list it
as for now. Just finished a 3 minute animated presentation with
Harland Williams which is going to be used to help sell a proposed
series idea to television networks such as Comedy Central, MTV,
FX, etc. Below is a small shot of the main characters.
MEET
THE PLUSH- August 2010: A series
of promos for My Pittsburgh TV featuring news anchor David Gregbeary.
Created to promote on-air programming in a different approach.
Software used includes After Effects, Crazy Talk and Sound Forge.
HARLAND
- July-August 2009: Some additional
work with Harland Williams. Creating a poster and DVD artwork
for his film project. Also working on some short animated sequences
that may get worked into his new web site. Below is a rough
of the initial animation. Still a few things to tweak and some
audio hits that need repaired. But it gives you the idea.
