Created a number of illustrations for this new science fiction
endeavor from Retcon Studios. Illustrations created using Poser,

FEBRUARY
PROMOS - January/February 2012:Here
are a few on-air promos created for My Pittsburgh TV. Two are
for the evening lineups, one focusing on Seinfeld, and the other
a combo spot for The Simpsons and Seinfeld. The third is for
our station's web site promoting the new sports page. Editing
in Premiere, graphics in After Effects and Photoshop, and 3d
created with Blender.
CAP. EPISODE 3 - January 2012:***WARNING: MATURE CONTENT*** The
latest episode of the online animated series of shorts produced
with Harland Williams. Contains some language and violence,
as it is a series aimed toward the South Park, Adult Swim type
of audience. This latest episode has some surprise guest stars
show up... and the craziness ensues. All the animation created
using Photoshop and After Effects, with final edit in Premiere.
HOLIDAY
IDS - December 2011: A
couple quick station IDs for the holiday season.All modeling
and animation in Blender 3d 2.60. Some additional effects and
audio in After Effects.
LOGAN'S
RUN - ENHANCED - December 2011: A
project for Retcon-Studios
presenting an enhanced version of the film "Logan's Run".
I created a CGI city in Cinema 4d to replace the outdated model
shots of the film. Additional effects and compositing in After
Effects.
ALIEN
MODEL - November 2011: A
3d model created and textured with Sculptris,rendered in Cinema
4d. Model render was used for a game poster design.
FALL 2011 PROMOS - November 2011: A
couple new promos for the fall season. One is to let viewers
know of the new time and channel for Seinfeld, joining The Simpsons
and Family Guy on My Pittsburgh TV. The other is for the new
FOX 53 line-up of Two & A Half Men and The Big Bang Theory.
The FOX 53 promos include a regular :30 sample, and a :20 client
sponsorable sample.
FOX TALKS - November 2011: Interview
segments with various stars of Fox Network shows. Used for on-air
segments, and in long form for web and social media sites.
GALL-BLADDER RAP - September 2011: The
second animation for Mikey and Big Bob / 96.1 Kiss (Clear Channel
Radio). Animation created around a rap song written by Mikey
for Big Bob's soon to be gone gall-bladder. Created with Photoshop,
After Effects and Premiere.
EILEEN GAGA ANIMATION - August 2011: An
animation for Mikey and Big Bob, the 96.1 Morning Freak Show
(Clear Channel Radio, Pittsburgh Morning Radio Show), based
off one of the show's regular callers, "Eileen from Blawnox."
Here she does her best Lady Gaga. Created with Photoshop, After
Effects and Premiere. Plans are to do a series of these from
their various audio recordings.
ANIMATED LADY GAGA INTERVIEW - July 2011:
An animation created
for a radio phone interview by D.J. Bonics with Lady Gaga (96.1
Kiss Radio, Pittsburgh). A method to give some visual interest
to an audio based interview. Created with Photoshop, After Effects
and Premiere.
C.A.P. CARTOON - April 2011: ***WARNING: MATURE CONTENT***
Here is the first
animated short created with Harland Williams. This series is
aimed toward the South Park / Adult Swim audience. A second
short is completed and the third script is written and ready
to start. The show has already been presented to Adult Swim
and Comedy Central, and time will tell where it goes. Harland
came up with the concept, wrote the script and recorded the
voices. From his character sketches and audio I built the characters
and animated the story. I used Photoshop for all the image elements,
After Effects for the animation, and Premiere for editing.
TOON WARS - April 2011: A promo
for My Pittsburgh TV's Simpsons and Family Guy lineup based
on the original Star Wars movie trailer. 3d animation created
with Blender 3d, compositing in After Effects and edited in
Premiere.
PET TIPS - March 2011: A
few samples of a client tie-in promotion offering helpful tips
to pet owners. Video shot on P2, edited on Avid, and graphics
created using Photoshop and After Effects.
LATE
NIGHT GRAPHICS - March 2011: Been
a while since an update. Working on a few things that I don't
want to post until finished. However I'd like to share some
graphics I'm creating for a late night on-air promo. Created
in Blender 3d 2.5, with the only light sources being indirect
ambient light from the object materials themselves. There are
no separate lights in the 3d scene. Graphics shown here without
sound.
